What got you into modeling?

My mother was a “ Hair Show ” model seeing her flawless runway walk made me want to try walking in heels. I found myself in My grandmother’s huge walk-in closet with many to choose from, by the time she caught me I creased up her favorite tallest heels; she soon after purchased me my first little pair! I’d practically lived in them whenever I was at grandma's. My aunt was very into the church that is where in her original designs; I did my very first fashion show at 5 years old right then & there I knew I had something special!

How long have you been modeling for?

Runway since 5, Print is new to me, this will be my first!

Who are some of your biggest names in the modeling that you admire?

Tyra Banks & Eva Marcille!

What is your most memorable modeling experience good and bad?

My best modeling experience is when I won a contest for filling the most seats at a “Rose Nior” Show I won a full glam shoot with two

Due to Social Media, everyone is a wanna-be model, do you think the model industry has become more competitive?

fully styled looks! My worst experience was when I booked a high fashion lingerie shoot & the photographer had something else in mind I knew he wasn’t right when he said: “ Arch ya back, open your legs more “ instantly my manager snatches his Camera deleted every picture & we got up out of there! That’s why it’s important to have a good team like mine with C.P. Charm at Manager Master

Mind Management. Never do anything you’re not comfortable with.

What have you learned being in the model industry?

At this point the modeling industry has become more of a bartering system then something that people actually get paid to do although a lot of barriers have been broken in the industry there are many that limit inclusivity with paid gigs . It’s competitive because there’s always new models willing to do it for the exposure to some that’s payment enough…One of the most challenging parts of being a model is with me being a size large I don’t necessarily fit into any category plus size, high fashion etc. So my biggest challenge is ignoring the size requirements on these casting calls, showing up anyway and believing that once they see this strut they won’t have any choice but to make me something custom! I love the challenge!

What is the most challenging part of being a model? The most challenging part of it all is if you're not focused and you're not communicating well and you can't take constructive criticism. Some that can be challenging for me is casting calls and rejection but that's life, you know.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself Launching my own line of original designs showcasing models of all shapes & sizes.

Sneakers or Heels?

Both I love me a Retro Jordan on a day to day, but there’s nothing that makes me feel more powerful than a nice tall heel!

If you had a chance to spend the day with a celebrity, who would it be with and why?

If I could spend a day with any celebrity it would be Erykah Badu I not only love her fashion I am a artist (@M.JaneMusic) I’d love to lock in & Just vibe together see what we could create; now that would be dope!

A Cottage or a Mansion to make you happy?

A cottage is cool but I’m not gonna lie. I’d love the challenge of decorating a mansion.

If your life was a mood ring, what color would it be right now?

If my life was a mood ring it would be rose gold
