What made you want to get into music and why R&B especially?
Ever since I was 6 years old, I was already performing , singing, playing the piano and acting, so my history really goes deep. And ever since then my passion for this career really stayed solid in my heart. When I was 15 turning 16, I remember in high school there were agencies and businesses that came down from Boston & New York & they brought flyers, cds, business cards, portfolios, posters, brochures, pamphlets etc… for all different kind of careers such as a Pageant Queen, modeling, singing, dancing, acting, sports etc., and I grabbed every single business card, posters, brochure’s, cd's, portfolios etc., from one end of the table to the other end and I came home from school and showed them to my dad and I was told at first that he would look into it to make sure it was legit, then a couple of days later I was told I wasn’t allowed to pursue these careers. Of course I was sad and hurt. I cried for a couple of days, however I didn’t stop having the love for music. I always looked up to Aaliyah & she was and still is my favorite R&B Artist & that’s where R&B comes into play and why I chose R&B. After watching Aaliyah doing live performances on TV, doing interviews and photo shoots, music videos etc., I knew right there that r&b was my genre , my style and everything.
What are some of the things you like to sing about in your music?
Some of the things I enjoy singing from my music is the Love/Heartbreak kind of songs because I can express how much of a lovable woman I am and express the heartache I’ve dealt with and it feels so good to be able to release all of those emotions into music.
You have songs like "Faithful" and "Too Late", which have gotten rave reviews on Youtube; How were you able to come up with those lyrics to win the hearts of both men and women?
Well, for the song “Faithful” it talks about how I got an eye candy for somebody & expressing my feelings towards that person & I mean we all got a lil’ eye candy on someone, Haha!! Nah but with that song, I feel like people love the idea and the creativity I put in the music video and the song lyrics etc., and that it’s a mutual feeling. For “Too Late” that talks about a legit break-up that I had experienced 3 to 4yrs back, I poured my whole emotions into that song. I'm pretty sure a lot of men and women can relate, especially when our ex's KNOW they messed up and now it’s “Too Late” because we are realizing our worth and we deserve better.
You are new to the music world but are making great strides, what are some of your goals with taking your music career to the next level?
My goals of taking my career to the next level are more content, out of state showcases, more radio interviews, (Live radio interviews) my very own clothing line as well because I LOVE Fashion! However, I do know it takes time to build my music career and I don’t want to miss a step, as I am still a new artist.
A lot of upcoming artists don't value the importance of media and publicity when growing their brands, how are you able to value and utilize media to grow your music brand?
Well, I stay consistent with promoting my music videos and singles on social media as much as possible and just keeping the hype going. I also perform a lot also, it definitely helps my music brand to stay out there too!
We understand that you are about to take your talent on the road to start performing in major cities such as Ohio, Atlanta etc., although are you excited, nervous or both?
Yes!!! I am super excited with performing out of state because it’s a different environment with new people that I never met before, them meeting me and seeing what I got to bring on stage. I can say sometimes not all the time but sometimes, I’ll have a little nervousness in my stomach, but I am definitely ready and confident to perform out of state!
What music artist(s) you would like to work with on a song?
If Aaliyah was around, (r.i.p to Aaliyah) she’d definitely be the first I’d contact to collaborate with on a song. I’d love to work with a lot of different artists male and female, that I’ve met so far.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations for why you chose to do music?
My BIGGEST inspirations growing up and even today is Aaliyah and Selena Quintanilla. They both made me feel that you can be whatever you want to be, from make-up, hair styles to fashion and talent and to always stay Tranquil.

I handle it very well! I love all feedback even if something negative was to be said, I stay Tranquil and Respectful no matter what. I feel as an independent music artist and model, it’s really important to keep it really professional at all costs. A positive mindset and positive vibes at all times.
